On September 11, the Laboratory of Environmental monitoring was opened at the Medicine and Biology Faculty of Voronezh State University as part of an event held by the Association “Clean country” with the support of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia and the Russian environmental operator, under the auspices of the National Project “Ecology”. The opening was attended by VSU rector Dmitry Endovitsky, Vice-Director – Head of the Department of state policy and regulation in the field of production and consumption waste management Vladislav Landsberg, The Executive Director Of the Association “Clean country” Ruslan Gubaidullin , staff and students of the Medicine and Biology Faculty, whose will be able to work on the equipment of this class, will be in demand in the labor market.”
The laboratory was created during the implementation of the International project Erasmus+ TAURUS “Agriculture and Urban-Rural interactions for Sustainable development of megacities “. The consortium of this project includes The Russian Agrarian University named by K. A. Timiryazev (Moscow), RUDN (Moscow), Tuscia University (Viterbo, Italy), Wageningen University (Wageningen, Netherlands), Georg-August-University (Göttingen, Germany), Nanjing Forest University (Nanjing, China), Fujian Agricultural and Forest University (Fujian, China).
The “Environmental monitoring” educational laboratory will be used in the implementation of professional trainings and internships of students from China, Italy and other countries.
